Tim is correct.....the way the fairing is supposed to be mounted is with two
tubular pieces at the top that bolt to the riser tops and two lower flat
pieces that bolt to the pinch bolts....Tim's Amb may have been mounted
differently because the V700 and some early Amb weren't drilled on the top
riser clamp....

My webpage is where you saw that, probably. The Ambo has a Wixom. It
attaches to a crossbar that goes (sadly) throught the speedo housing. I
don't remember that on my original Ambo, or my Eldo. The Eldo had supports
to the top of the barclamps, and to the big pinch bolts on the forks.

I saw a pic of you and an Eldorado?? and your yellow Guzzi. You had a Wixom
on the Eldo. didn't you? I have a Wixom and want to try it on my Ambo but I
don't have the proper mounting hardware. Is he mounting hardware fairly
universal for bikes? Do I just ask for universal mounting hardware? Thanks,
