Hi,

I have the individual K&N filters on my Ambo. Yes they are tight but no
problems with getting them to fit. If neccessary you can shave off a bit of
the rubber to allow them to slide towards the carb a little more.

For what it is worth....I have Uni's on the 70 Ambo and K&N's on the 69
Ambo. Both seem to work well although if I needed to buy another set I would
go with the uni's for the price.

Regards....Ian

David-
I hope to not burst your bubble, but when I tried to put my set of K&N's on
my new carb venturi's, they hit each other and wouldn't fit. Slipped on
fine, but not enough room between them. I put them on ebay, and ordered a
set of Uni's which work killer. As a matter of fact, the uni's flow more
air than the K&N's (based upon my spark plug color...used to be brown and
black, now mostly light brown and some white on the very end). If you are
using a K&N stock filter and airbox all should be well, but if you are
using
the individual filters, I don't think it'll work...but I hope it will of
course.
Hope to not be the bearer of bad news,
