<DIV></DIV>>The simplest, most visible, and effective lock I've seen lately is
<DIV></DIV>>one that
<DIV></DIV>>MAW and others sell, that clamps over the throttle and front brake
<DIV></DIV>>or the
<DIV></DIV>>clutch side. Doesn't totally imobilise the bike, but seems like it
<DIV></DIV>>would
<DIV></DIV>>work well anyway. The other option is use a piece of thick coated
<DIV></DIV>>cable
<DIV></DIV>>(bright orange if possible) and a case hardened (very
<DIV></DIV>>important...bolt
<DIV></DIV>>cutters will NOT cut these) padlock to attach the front wheel to the
<DIV></DIV>>frame.
<DIV></DIV>>This will totally immobilise the bike, but one runs the risk of
<DIV></DIV>>trying to
<DIV></DIV>>take off without removing it, causing terrible wheel and ego damage.
<DIV></DIV>> If ya
<DIV></DIV>>have a disc front end, a disc lock works, but has the same
<DIV></DIV>>disadvantages as
<DIV></DIV>>a cable. I noticed a Guzzi dealer selling tags to put on the
<DIV></DIV>>handlebars to
<DIV></DIV>>remind people to remove their disc lock before riding so I guess
<DIV></DIV>>that is a
<DIV></DIV>>fairly common problem.
<DIV></DIV>>I think the clutch/brake lever lock would be the best. Leave the
<DIV></DIV>>bike in
<DIV></DIV>>gear and putting it over the clutch would work well, without the
<DIV></DIV>>risk of
<DIV></DIV>>messing up the front wheel.

<DIV></DIV>>>Greetings,
<DIV></DIV>>>
<DIV></DIV>>>Searched through the archives for this topic, found some stuff but
