Paul, my fellow Canuck!!

How are you? Has the snow melted in Timmins yet?

I believe in order to mount the K&N's you need to unscrew the venturis. The
venturis are an adapter that screws into the carb itself. The K&N's mount
directly to the carb.

Sorry but my notes are an absolute mess. I was hoping to get the model
number for the filters that you should use but I can't find it. There is
also an offset type from K&N (#30-992) that people have said work well. I
couldn't find them here in Canada though.

Alternatively you can buy yourself a set of UNI foam filters. They mount
directly to the venturis and are cheap but as someone recently pointed out
they can catch on fire.

What MAC's did you get? The fishtail? Are you coming to the Western NY Rally
on 8,9,10th of June? Rally site is just south of Buffalo.

Good to hear that you survived the winter. Now let's just hope you can
survive Black Fly season :-)

Regards....Ian
