Doesn't this require changing the rear drives ratio? You may want to look
in the Guzziology. I can look in the morning but it seems like the V7 and
the Eldo had the same ratio but the Ambo's was higher.

Andy,

My advice is to leave the 4 speed in there. Of course if I had my choice I
would go with the extra gear but all in all I think the 4 speed is fine.

And if you decide to change it...do it after the West New York Rally!!

Regards....Ian

p.s. now how about making me a deal on that 5 speed :-)

 hey troops-
while i'm a sittin' here with a sidelined ambo/eldo, waitin' for that
stator to show up [thanks again DaveO.!!], i got to wonderin'. would it
be

worth my while to replace that trusty 4-speed with the 5-speed that's
sittin' on the bench? guzzidoug said to do it,& he's probably right, but
what's the actual advantage? as lazy as i naturally am, it's 1 more gear
to

shift, an' all, but does my fuel mileage go way up [gettin' near 50mpg
now],
or could i go faster with less intake noise? [tell ya what- those k&n's
let

that thang HOWL at decent speed!!!
thanks,
andy
