 What went wrong:

The speedo lunched itself in the firt mile. A quick whine and then the

I have a working one with a dent in the case $40 inc shipping if you're
interested.

I seem to have done something wrong when I replaced the seal in the gas cap.
I now have some nasty gas stains on my fresh painted tank. ANyone got one of
those leather bibs for a gast tank? I gotta cover some nasty.

Mine did that, but was better when the gasket was replaced. The bad thing
about rattel can paint is that it is not gas proof. The good thing is
that it sure makes it easy to touch up. Duplicolor makes a clearcoat for
steel wheels that is absolutely gas proof. Not sure about compatability
with the paint you used, but it might be worth a test..

The forks seem to be out of alignment. Not bad. just annoying. like a
steering wheel on crooked.

I expect you know how to fix this one...

The most worrisome is that the clutch slips. I pray it is just some gear oil
on the plate from when I pressurised the gearbox to get the clutch plunger
out. But I worry that it is a bad main seal.

Still it is an awesome ride.
