Hi Pete,
When I bought my '69 Ambo, it had signals mounted on the crashbars. They
were
off of a Kawasaki of some sort according to the previous owner. They
weren't
wired up so I pulled them off, but plan on reinstalling them at some
point.
Should be very visible there - to close to the headlight and sometimes
they are
"drowned out" by the brighter headlight. Can't see any minuses to mounting
them
there myself. Cheers,

Charlie

Dear Loopers

Just looking for some advice/ experience. I added directional signals
to
my 71. I am using a homemade bracket on the front end, lights are just
below the headlight and spaced about 5-6 inches outboard of the forks.
Works fine but I was looking at the crash bar and figured that would
make a
good mount for the directionals and the spacing would be very close to
where
they are now if you looked at the bike head on. They would be farther
back
of course, but I think it would be a much cleaner look than the present
set
 up.

Has anyone run directionals mounted on the crashbars? I am thinking
just
inside the top curve of the bar.
Any comments, especially drawbacks that I dont see, are welcome. I want
these to be visible. Thats the main thing.

Thanks alot
Pete
