Pete,

That seepage might be a good thing. I doubt that the bike would be happy
with that little fuel and start sputtering to let you know it was time to
switch to the reserve.

In my Convert petcocks and the similar style petcocks I added to the 69 Ambo
the tubes merely stuck in. It is a pretty tight fit and I doubt that much
fuel could seep.

I am so looking forward to the rally. I have the Wixoms attached to the
bike, tent checked and route plans already made. Really too bad that you
won't be there since there will be a few of the Loopframers there. We'll
hook up at some point though.

Regards...Ian

I dont think that will work, the tube's function is to raise the pickup
level above the bottom of the petcock so an early warning of low gas will
result. If you dont seal the bottom of the tube to the petcock, gas
can seep in under the tube bottom making it useless and then the early
warning will be a late warning like I got a few weeks ago.

Hope that makes sense. I always need a paper to draw a picture when I
explain something. Using words only can misconscrew the message

You all set for the rally? Sorry I cant make it this year.

Pete
