Hi Joe,

When you get the bike......might you send me the serial number of the bike
for my files please? As you may or may not know...I am recording all the
Loopframes out there.

Your 69 Ambo should have a serial number of "A12xxx". Maybe "13xxx" without
the "A" in front too. If the serial number is A12xxx then you will basically
have a V700 with 750 cylinders and 700 heads. Side covers should be the
older type (without the gills) and bigger headlight bucket. They are very
rare and worth a fortune...right Scott and Charlie? :-)

Is the shifter on the right hand side or left? All the 4 speeds had the
pattern as you said.

Tires.......4.00 x 18 which are still available. I think the new
measurements are 110/90 x 18. Hard to find rears that size so you may need
to go 120/90 x 18 although these are tough to get on...but they fit though.

Best of luck with the new bird....Ian Adkins

p.s. I don't want to know what you paid for it! :-)
