Hi Chris,

I just hooked up a Sigma today and rode 115 miles. Unit works great but the
unit is indicating miles but reading kilometers. I'll need to have a look at
that. What I got on the speedo odometer was 117 miles. Indicated on the
speedo unit was 185.64 (miles). When I converted 1 km=.62 mile I got 115
miles. Pretty close.

I had the same problem......pick up was too far from the magnet. What I did
was buy a little round magnet from Wally Mart and then glue it on the rim.
Then I had to do a little creative fixn' to get the pickup unit closer to
the rim. I used a piece of old generator belt. Cut a little piece and
siliconed it to the pick up unit. Then I tie wrapped the unit to the flat
piece on the fender that attaches to the forks. Close enough now.

Regards...Ian

 Zer and all-
I wanted to attach a bicycle speedo to my eldo too, but the ones available
locally are not suitable. I was told of a brand called Sigma which may
work. My problem was that I could not get the sensor close enough to the
magnet...usually they need to be 1-2 mm apart to work. The Sigma's sensor
and magnet are supposed to work further apart, thus possibly facilitating
mounting it on my loop. What brands have y'all who have done this used and
how did ya mount it? I'd love to see exactly how fast I'm going!
Cheers!
