Subject: 850 Engine Bearings

Hello all.
I am rebuilding my 1972 850 Eldo engine.
Engine is now completely apart.
Crankshaft is going to shop today for grinding.
Questions:
1. Is it common to replace the crankshaft bearings in the flanges?

2. Do the flange bearings just press in and out? Do you need heat?
3. The Guzzi Manual uses "c/w" in text referring to the flanges and
crankshaft. What does c/w stand for?
