 Chris,

I have seen quite a few melted terminal blocks and I think that the
problem
has to be the pin type connectors loosening up and getting hot. I think
that
if you make sure you have a good solid connection you will be ok. I use
dielectric grease on all the connections to ensure good contact and
minimal
corrosion. I think it has helped.

Right now, I don't have them on my bike...maybe I'll leave it like that
cos
everything seems to work fine without. I was considering putting in a
starter relay, but will probably just leave it be...no probs yet (knock
on
wood).

Hello Ian, This "dielectric grease" sounds sensible...is that a generic
name or brand name...can you suggest who sells it....tube or spray
can.... Thanks for the suggestion....all clues appreciated. Best wishes.
