Mike
I just put some MMO into mine for the first time a few days ago. Should be
a good thing, upper cyl lubrication.
I am also interested in any other responses from the list.

Good Luck with the new addition to the family!
Pete

Hi All.

New member and Eldo owner here (I signed in a few weeks back and shared
the story of purchasing Lou's bike on this list).

Well the bike was delivered to my office yesterday morning and after
filling it with gas and reconnecting the battery, she started up and
made a heavenly sound!

I drove that thing around town and didn't want to head anywhere back to
work! What a fun ride the Eldo is. Sitting upright (after being hunched
over for years on other bikes)..I felt like I was on top of the world
looking down on everyone else! Man, I was gliding.

And to further the, "you meet the nicest people on a Guzzi" belief, I
ran into two other past Eldo owners this morning (one at DMV and one in
my office parking garage) who had great stories about their bikes and
adventures.

Thanks again to Lou for a smooth sale. Thanks again to Steve Rivet for
all the correspondence and for passing along the ad to me that made all
this possible (and to think, if that boob on ebay hadn't bought up
Steve's Eldo, only to turn around and try and resell it on Ebay...and
he's going to lose money on the whole thing...I would have bought
Steve's and been equally as happy today).

I did have something I wanted to ask you guys out there. I've been using
Marvel's Mystery Oil in my gas for years on my BMW's and wanted to know
if any of you used it in their Guzzi's. Is it okay to do? I'm also using
Super Unleaded gas.

I look forward to a long relationship with the Eldo and with you guys.

Take care all!

Mike
