They ain't much better in Wa state, I bet. I have the bag strapped snug to
the seat T-bar right above the cross member of the frame. hasn't budged.
SOme minor scuffing from vibration. ANd I have launched across railroad
crossings.

give us a pic like a good man and we'll all chime in on solutions.

Mich. roads SUCK. seat is cushoned by a rubber block. Tool kit probablly
whack my fender. Cool idea though.

Oh and I also hung my home made, HD style tool bag on the back of the seat
bracket. That will also protect those innards. Maybe that will work for
you.


 
And in answer to your question, no they dont. If you look at 'em you'll
see
 that they are cut away right there. When setting up the seat I was hoping
they would, but theres a good 4-5" gap right over the reg.
