Hi Loopers,

I ran across a couple of Guzzi projects over at my buddie's place the
other day. I thought I would mention them to the list.

The first is about a '70 Ambo. Somebody started to "customize" it. It has
a chrome Honda front end complete with dual drilled disks. They didn't
quite get that mod completed (or maybe they thought they did) since there
are no head stock bearings installed. It is just sort of floppin' around.
I'm sure a little machine shop work would be involved if you wanted to
stick with that set-up. Otherwise it is pretty much all there, side
covers, tool boxes stock rear fender. The tank is pretty crappy. The
motor turns freely, but is missing the generator belt drive and belt
cover. No seat either. If no body wants to save it, it will probably be
parted out. It could be yours for $600.

Next up is a Police Convert. It is in nasty, rusty condition. The motor
is seized. Except for the seat, front master cylinder, and some other odd
stuff it is pretty much all there. $500.

I think there are even titles for both.

If anyone is interested in a sweet '74 Ducati 750GT, let me know. It is
looking fine and ready to ride. $5000.

All the bikes are located in Michigan 50 miles N. of Detroit. It might be
possible to arrange transportation to Mid Ohio if that helps.

Thanks for the bandwidth!
