Get a good hardened bolt of the proper diameter. Cut the head off. I believe
2" is the right length. The thread the retaining bolt back in. a couple
turns with the allen wrench and *pop*.

cookie is right in that a soft aluminum or soft steel rod/bold is a bad
idea.

Factory tool is piece of hardened steel rod of approx. 5/6mm dia. by 50mm
long (can't be exact, I can't find mine).

Remove bolt from centre of rotor, as you have done, & insert tool. into
rotor. Screw bolt into middle of rotor till tight. Tap with hammer. Repeat
until Rotor falls off taper.

Don't use home made tool lashed up out of mild steel nail or similar. It
will bend inside rotor & get stuck & you'll be very sorry.
