Mine is insured thru Allstate for $5000 without an appraisal. My agent
said if I wanted more I would need to get it appraised. The only thing
you could do then is ride over to a Guzzi dealer who works on Loopframes
to get it appraised.

Am looking for advice... I am trying to indure my bike through my
longtime insurance agent. I believe that they will be going through
Progressive. I have asked them to insure it for a replacement value of
$6000 which I think is reasonable considering the work put into it.
They need an appraisal or a Blue Book type of price listing. I have
called all the local dealers and nobody know squat about Guzzi's and
don't want to get involved. Anybody know of a good internet
pricing/value guide besides Blue Book (it only goes back to 1975 and
lists a 75 LAPD 850 as being worth $2400!!!).
