There is some kind of voodoo magic going on!
The reason you have to use Marelli VR with Marelli generator & Bosch with
Bosch, is that the field windings, I think (& am far too lazy too look it
up) are wired directly opposite from make to make & are totally
incompatible.
Thumbs Rule!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought I was told if you have a |

electronics of the bike, perhaps a Marelli generator/regulator not |

case. As for the junkyard, wish there was one this way! If you find
any of those old style "boot guards", those 1/2 moon shaped guards that
bolt onto the valve covers, let me know, I'd like a set!
