Doh!
Also meant to say that my eldo won't start for shit without W/O choke if
it's cold. Takes a bit of idling like this to get warm enough to idle
well...although sometimes I get luck and don't have to restart it 3-4 times.
Once warm, all is wonderful.

Charlie I think you said you start it the same way? As for me.....on both my bikes I set the choke about 3/4 and then take my hand right off the throttle. The bikes start right up. If I give so much as a hint of throttle then the bike floods and is tough to start. I've never thought about trying to start the bike with no choke and only a twist of throttle. Would be interesting to see how the girls start under this procedure.
