Hi Pete-

My 72 Ambo does this shifting from 1st to 2nd, and rarely into 3rd. some
times it takes 2-3 tries to get it to engage. Also, my bike will kick out of
gear sometimes when I hit a bump...Just replace a bad rear drive gear seal
and things a shifting a little better...

Kind Regards,

Noel McCormack

Today as I was upshifting, I went from 3rd to 4th.
Heard the usual Klunk! but was in no gear.
shift again and another normal Guzzi klunk but still not engaged in any
gear. 4 X it did this
As I was slowing down too much for the left lane I coasted into the right
lane so I wouldnt become a roadkill.
Going slower I tried 3rd and it worked.

Normal shifting after that.

What is this?? anybody experience this before??
Or is this just part of the Guzzi charm????
This beast sure has a personality!
Pete
