The only compatibility problem is generator to regulator. You must use a
three pole regulator with a Marelli generator. I used to have a regulator
that was made for a '65 Ford hooked to my Marelli generator, and it worked
fine. The regulator that works with the Bosch generator is a two pole.

No other part matters.

Keith and Z,
Ian told me that the Generator and Regulator must be Marelli and that
anything else can be Bosch or whatever. Right Ian? Bob Hawkes

Z,

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought I was told if you have a Marelli
starter, you can't use a Bosch in it's place, something to do with the
electronics of the bike, perhaps a Marelli generator/regulator not being
compatible with a Bosch starter???? Just wanted to mention it just in
case. As for the junkyard, wish there was one this way! If you find
any of those old style "boot guards", those 1/2 moon shaped guards that
bolt onto the valve covers, let me know, I'd like a set!

Thanx!

why keep having rallies at campgrounds? They should be held in
