Dave,

Good hi speed drill bit nice and sharp, slow rpm and a lot of pressure.
Ease off when just about through. You don't want to work harden the
stainless which is the reason for the slow speed and high pressure. Make
sure the bit keeps cutting. If it quits resharpen it. Also helps if you can
do it under water or with coolant.
