Also, I have been told and read that the Valeo starter used on the later
model bikes is an absolutely great replacement...just be ready to shell out
400 clams or so for it. Mark or Cheese should be able to get one of these
too.

Not sure if it would be worth buying a car starter when Mark at MG
Classics or Moe at Cycle Garden can rebuild/sell you a rebuilt starter
in the neighborhood of $100-$125? Think there are also rebuild kits
available for the Bosch starter, think Dave Otis may actually have one?
