Hi Ed,
I prefer the sizes you currently have, but a different brand. I tried a
pair of Stradas
on my Mille GT. They wore quickly (about 6000 miles) but were otherwise
good tires. I prefer to use the Conti Blitz - TKH23 and TKH24. They are
reasonably priced ($52 front and $59 rear) and last at least 10,000 miles.
Good all around traction and handling as well. If I'm not mistaken, Loops
originally came with brands other than Pirelli fitted from the factory
(Metzelers?). Cheers,

Charlie

Hi to all- I'm going to put my new (to me) Eldorado to it's first big
test this coming weekend. I'll be riding to Red Wing Minnesota for the
AMA Pro National hillclimb. I need to put new tires on before I go. I
want to buy Pirelli tires because of the Italian connection. My
questions: 1. My bike has 110/90-18 front and 120/90-18 on the rear.
Which sizes do you prefer? 2. My Dennis Kirk catalog shows 2 Pirelli
models I'm interested in: Durotour and Strada. The Strada is nicer
looking but the Durotour probably makes more sense. Anyone have any
experience with Pirelli tires?
Thanks guys, Ed in Iowa.
