I had this happen to me for the first time a couple of weeks ago.It
was up in the 90's and I had just ridden home from work, about 15
miles, and had been kind of thrashing the Eldo(IF that is possible)
When I pulled into the drive and was waiting for the garage door to
open I noticed the oil pressure light to JUST barely flicker..
Checked oil level..OK..no more noise than usual..I just turned the
idle up about 100 rpm or so. Hasn't happened since. I run Castrol

Sorry to keep this thread alive :), thanks for the oil pressure
advice.
My light hasn't come on again since the day I rode it hard in the
hot
temp, and then it was only on at slow idle. Plus I think my idle is
probably set too low but I like to listen to it and watch it "shake"
at
the slow idle. I guess I'm not worried about it anymore.
