Thanks for the idea Patrick...
I haven't had the bike long and so have not had the wheel off. I spoke
with Micha @ Moto International this evening and he thought the same
thing. I asked him if it was safe to ride it... I think he thought I
was trying to lure him into an entrapment lawsuit so he told me not to
exceed 35 MPH until I tore into the wheel!?!
Any advice on what not to do when digging in there?

If it is moving at the hub, it sounds more like trashed wheel bearings.
Have
you had this wheel off recently? Are you certain the axle is inserted
and
adjusted correctly? Did you properly tighten the axle nut BEFORE you
tightened the fork pinch bolts?
