My missus says my mac fistail guzzi is quieter than my honda vtr!

You could see if MArk would swap 'em back?
Some BMW silencer should work. no, wait...the header on those is curved, NM.

JCW has some baffles, but I doubt they will quiet it down at all.

Mine sounded loud to me too. Until I got it out of the shop and up into the
hills for a ride. then it sounded just right. loud enough to hear the
exhaust note as more than a wheeze but not so rowdy it will wake the dead.

An empty gear lube bottle served as the temporary tank to get a bit of
fuel into the float bowls. A couple of quick twists to the throttle,
ignition on, jumper the solenoid and VARRROOOOOMMMM, twenty years of
silence vanquished! Man, what a raucous sound the old Ambo makes. Mark
had told me that the MAC fishtails would be "a little louder" than the
stock mufflers. Yeah, like an F-16 is "a little louder" than a Piper
Cub. Talk about utterly Harleyesque, I couldn't believe it was a Guzzi I
(and all the neighbors within half a mile) was hearing. It sounded
great, but I'm afraid that it may be just a bit more than I would care
for on the decibel scale. Anybody got any suggestions as to how I can
keep the fishtails but quiet the thing down to a more civilized level?
Slip in pipe baffles, maybe?
