Paul,
Hard to tell if it's a true police model, Since so many police models are
now in civillian circulating. I'm not an expert on police models but I do
believe standard issue was floorboards, and right side shifting. I don't see
niether. The bars are police length, and I do believe they used the single
speedo. BUT all this stuff is easily swapped and mis matched to the owners
preference.
There might be something in the model #(vin #) but i'm not sure.
Hopfully some eles can give more info.

Hi list - just a brief introduction and a request for help. I'm an
aspiring loopframe owner that has been observing from afar (Sydney
Asutralia) for a couple of weeks now. I currently own a 1974 Ducati Desmo
Single that I'm looking to get rid of so I can get a loop. I though I'd
start the search early because there aren't a great number of loopframes
out here it seems. Perhaps you guys can help me figure out from the photo

whether this potential purchase is a genuine LAPD Ambassador? It's located
