I also believe the Eldo rear drive has a sump
Never looked at the rear drives side by side.
I like my 71. the 4 gears are spaced just right.

Keith, Look at your casting. It has fins in a kind of star pattern
around the casting. The newer ones are smooth, cleaner looking maybe, but
not as interesting. Find an Eldorado picture.

What is the difference in the rear drive unit between the Ambo and
Eldo?
