Patrick,
OK so you think the loop may not notice a Westco battery and then to buy one
may be a waste of money, is that what you're saying? Reason I'm asking is
that my bike is running good most of the time now (Yeah!!) but after a ride
she doesn't want to start. I thought it would be good to replace the
battery, maybe with just one from Kmart for $29, a garden tractor variety.
What do you think? My generator was measured on a test bed, it is putting
out 50 amps!! Starter is god too. Bob

go to the Westco site and read their materials. Also, go to EPF cycles
and
read what they say about the Odyssey battery.

These are new technology, compressed glass mat, absorbed acid batteries.
Nothing to spill, not even if you tip over. Not a gel battery.

They have a very high output at all times and they don't trickle down much
over timeif you don't use them. I have several bikes and sometimes one
gets
neglected for a few weeks at a time.

I'm a believer in the quality output of these batteries. Of course, with
my
old loopframe and a generator, the battery quality didn't matter that
much.
It sure does with the newer alternator Guzzis.
