Subject: Wixom Fairing/Windshield for Sale in N. CA.

Hi there everyone!
Just wanted to see if anyone was looking for a Wixom fairing for the
Guzzi. I have the "handle bar" fairing and windshield that came with the
Eldo that I purchased from Lou Berkeley a few months back. Lou had the
fairing painted Ford red to match the bike (you can see the red Eldo on
Dave's Loopframe.com site. It's under "looper's bikes" ....Lou Berkeley.
You can also see the fairing type on Tim Crump's Ambo since he has the
same fairing...also on the "looper's bikes" section.)
There are a couple of minor spots where the paint flaked off during
shipping, but otherwise, it's solid and looks great. The chrome
headlight ring is there (though it does have some surface rust). The
windshield looks really good, some scratches, but no cracks. The
windshield is a Bates. I believe all the mounting brackets, screws and
parts are all there as well.
I'm never going to use the fairing so I thought I would offer it to
someone who might. I'm in San Francisco and the National rally is coming
up this weekend so if anyone is coming through the bay area, they can
pick it up. I won't be able to make it to the rally since I'll be in
L.A. for a wedding (how unlucky am I...first time owning a Guzzi after
all these years of searching...loving the Eldo and then having the
National Guzzi Rally in Northern California a few months later...only to
find out a high school friend is having a wedding the same weekend in
L.A....don't think I haven't asked myself, "How close were we in High
School? What would happen if I didn't show up and just mailed my gift?"
Well, my girlfriend snapped me right out of this thought.
Girls...sheeeesh!
Anyway, I'll be in town until Friday afternoon...but can arrange for a
pal to pass on the fairing over the weekend if it comes to it.
I'm not super sure how much these things are running now a days...but
I'll try asking $200.00 bucks for the whole thing. Let me know if I'm
way off one way or the other (before I list it on ebay or other
classified sites).
