Well got the Valeo mounted. Tom was right, very tight fit. Went to hook up
the clutch cable and low and behold I couldn't get it in, and no this is NOT
a personal problem. The adjuster on the cable mounts in the wrong way. The
guy who put this one together must have consumed to many barley pops at the
time. So what else to do but call up Gordon at MG and order a new one that
will fit. I could have cut the end off and turned the adjuster around, but I
just don't like to have a cable that has one of those quick fix end pieces
on while I'm out on the road somewhere. Just doesn't seem too safe to me.
This gives me time to clean up the wiring and mount my relay in a nice dry
spot and make sure everything else is tight and secure. Have to get
everything ready so I can make it to the Blue Ridge rally next month.
