Actually I have the police bars on my Ambo. The new cable is for those bars
and fits perfectly. The other cable I have no idea what it fits, but it can
be used as a clutch cable for an Ambo with police bars and original Marelli
starter. I installed a new Valeo in mine, that's why I had to get the new
clutch cable. The threaded part was facing the wrong way and was in the way
of the solenoid on the Valeo.

The clutch cable may be for a police model. My 73 police model clutch
cable
is attached close to the rear of the tranmission on the foot brake side.
My
70'(71 title) Ambo is attached to a bracket on the battery support.
Also,
the police model handlebars are longer (swept further back) which would
require a longer cable.

Hell, I ordered my clutch cable from MG Cycle on Thursday and got it
Saturday. I now have a spare cable that is 12 inches longer than the one
I
just got and threads in from the left instead of the right. Also I found
out
that the threaded part is just a fraction smaller than the new one and
it
has 2 nuts on it instead of the 1 on the new cable. Any ideas to what
this
cable might be for?

Hey, It's not like the front brake does much anyway ;-)

Just for the good of the order, I read in the Tips for Guzzis
booklet that the clutch and front brake cable are interchangeable and
in a
pinch you could swap out the brake cable over to the clutch just to get
home.
