Ron....agreed! I aplogize to the list as well for my dig too.

However...this is a list that has much to do with the benefit to the
"consumer-Looper". Letting people know who the best are is an advantage to
the listers.

I guess that we should all follow the old saying...."if you have nothing
nice to say then say nothing".

Having said that I will then refrain from saying anything bad about certain
shops which I have done business with in the past and will not do business
with in the future.

As for the comment sent mistakingly to the list......I laughed out loud when
I read it.

As for Mark. That snarly bastard is one of the best Loopers out there. He
cares about his customers and is dedicated to making them happy. One of the
things I like most about the guy (although I have never met him personally)
is that he is a straight shooter. He says what he thinks and I respect that
in a guy. Just don't play the music too loud when you are around him :-) If
anyone should win the 100 million lottery it should be him. Then we would
have a whole load of restored Eldos with 1100 engines in them available :-)

One final thing. Please send all nasty replies and criticisms to me
personally and not to the list.

Regards...Ian

 Mark,

Yours may be the best MG shop in the world, and Harpers the worst, for all
I know, but answering my request for advice with nothing but a sarcastic
dig at Harpers sure doesn't help anything. Don't know about other listers
here, but when I hear shops bad-mouthing their competition, it's not their
competition's reputation that suffers.
