You guys really are looking for punishment taking about AMF Harleys.
My Ambassador reminds me a lot of my old '60 Duo Glide. I wish I still had
it and if I were to ever catch the bug to own a Milwaukee motorcycle again
that is what I would acquire again.. It's soul could be described more as
funk but it was a real smile maker none the less. Pretty reliable also in
that it never left me stranded for anything that ever went wrong on the road
that I couldn't fix there and then. It did 'mark' its territory pretty good
in the garage though ;-) And had the same brakes. Doh!

no lie there Tim-
that blasted '78 lowrider was the most experating, unreliable piece
of ill
handling crap that i've EVER owned! buy one- your hair will
dissappear, you
will develop a beer gut, you will turn into a nasty bast***, etc.,
