Mine still have the heavy springs. When I went to the BMWOA rally in Oregon,
I bought a throttle rocker. Nice doodad. Annoying in town but nice out on
the road just a plastic bit that clips onto the grip. adjusted right I could
keep the gas on and rest all four fingers on the brake lever with no
fatigue. I could also hold the gas on with just my thumb and allow me to
roatate and flex my wrists. when in town it's a pain in the ass. but it pops
off with a flick of the thumb and I can stuff it in a pocket. pretty nice
for a 10buck doodad.
