Motoport is all over the net. Same with Langlitz.

Them there motorport pants sound pretty sexy, where to get them? I was out
in Washington about 7 years ago(cross country trip on a yamaha) a couple
picked my pal and I out of the rain at a gas station. Names were Brain and
Heather. Great people, put us up, fed us, called into work and rode with us
to the ocean on a cold, grey rainy day. Brain had a cool leather "cape"
from
Langlelizt(SP?) Leathers. It drapped over your lap while riding. He gave me
a catalog, have since lost it. Good leathers, all hand made with a few
millimeters thick. I have always wanted a jacket from them. Pricey also but
like you said, you get what you pay for.
HEY! I'll check the internet!

This is one of those things hwere you get what you pay for. SOrta.

I have some motoport pants. 30$ and the roll up right into the tool bag. I
can slip 'em on under the chaps and keep my nads nice and dry.

But since I ride year round and we get a little bit of rain here (Seattle)
I
went and splurged after years of leathers and bandannas, on a first gear
jacket and pants. oh so nice. the pants are a bit too heavy for summer
wear,
but they kept me warm and dry on 30-ish degree wet mornings. No need for
long jons. The jacket is the best. totally dry. very warm and the liner
zips
out and there are vents galor making it a nice summer jacket as well.

cost was about 500. and it has been well worth it.

 HEY!
I'm not skinny enough to dodge the raindrops anymore. Having gone though
a zillion and one pairs of raingear, and tried everything from the $15
sets from the army surplus to the $100. sets(that were the worst) I
thought I'd ask you guys what you've found to work. I really don't think
a guy should have to spend more than $100 on a set, but maybe I'm wrong,
maybe the $5000. set will last ya think?
