I'm sure it's the regulator, even took the reg and gen to a local shop
to bench test. The generator is in great condition, the regulator cutout
isn't working and when it's bypassed the other coils are dead also. I
wish it was as simple as a dead cell in the battery.
| Finally, I don't know how much a regulator "normally" costs but there is one at Sport Cycle. I just had my hands on it - I actually tried it on my bike, again it was the battery. I think Dave Brown wanted $50 for it. |
