Hi Brian,

Wish I could take credit for the ol' girl, but the only cosmetics I've done
since I bought it four years ago was change from the Harley Sportster bags
that came on it to the Wixoms it has now. Also the pictures don't show all the
"character" marks it has.
It now has 55,800 miles on it, had 36,300 on it when I bought it. Hoping to
put the final 500 miles on this weekend to make it an even 20,000 miles ridden
since bought. The pictures were taken this spring in the driveway of my home
just after a 250 mile ride.
We have been enjoying some rather un-summerlike temps lately, but it seems to
rain when I want to ride! Oh well, I like to ride in the rain so no biggy.
Weather for this weekends trip to the VA Rally looks to be nice, hope the
weather holds out for the MD Rally as well.
Glad to hear you're progressing with you're Eldo resto, did you get mufflers
from EPCO/MT Eng.? As you may have seen here on the list, I'm still in the "I
can't make up my mind" stage of Ambo #2's restoration. My "Immediate Tax
Relief" check will spur progress soon though. Hoping for a late spring (2002)
maiden voyage. Cheers,

Charlie

Charlie,
You've got a really nice looking Ambo. How many miles are on it? And
where were the pictures taken?
I have been envying you guys in the North-East, as most days down
here are close to or over 100 deg, and so I usually only ride at night.
However, I will soon be moving to Virginia, and will have the
opportunity to get to some of the rallies.
BTW I'm still working on my Eldo restoration, but only have 2 or 3
weeks of work left.

 Hi All,
I've finally started putting together a website. Nothing fancy at first,
but it will improve as I learn and gather more pictures. Right now it
has two shots of the '69 Ambo and two of the '87 Cagiva 350. Still to
come are Bertone X1/9, Vintage M/C Days and some rally pictures (can't
remember which rallies though). It can be viewed at:

Let me know what you think. Cheers,
