Called my neighborhood auto parts store (CarQuest)
and they were very helpful.....as usual. Said they can
get whatever pipes I need, and recommended a muffler
dealer a block away that will fit them to the Eldo...cheap.
I looked up the VW stinger parts JB Weld recommended
(Thanks again JB) at JC Whitney and I should be able to
get the "pea shooters" on the Eldo well under 50 bucks.
I owe ya a cold one JB........
BTW......I will be roadtripping it to Champaign-Urbana Ill.
the weekend of 20 Oct. I plan on going to the Badger/
Illini football game and visiting some friends.
Any suggestions from Illinois Guzzisti, recommending
unique roads/routes would be appreciated. I plan on
leaving western Wisconsin on friday early morning,
and meandering back by monday.
JB you gonna be in Wonder Lake that weekend?
