A brief note of appreciation on the Virginia Rally held last weekend. The weather was perfect. My ride down was great fun, as was the ride home. As has been traditional in my 4 years of attending the Virginia Rally, it was teriffic. A great location, and hosted by wonderful folks. Thanks goes out to Ron & Alice Komoroski and all of of the staff who helped them. I personally had a great time despite getting one speeding citation on my LeMans shortly before arriving at the rally site, and a warning for speeding on the Blue Ridge Parkway from another cop the following morning!
I attend perhaps 6 rallys per summer. All I do is enjoy the ride, show up, and enjoy the fruits of the labor of those who are gracious enough to put on these rallys. I know it must be a helluva lot of work, and my thanks goes out to those who accept the obligation to put them on so that folks like me can enjoy them. Thanks, Ron & Alice, and thanks to Jack & Joan Arnold, and to Bill Sharp for their Ohio and Maryland Rallys, respectively. Both of them are coming up shortly, and I'll be there. All of you Reps who do this for the rest of us have my appreciation.
