Original dimensions for the generator belt for the eldorado and Ambassador are 10x8x754. Using a belt that is 780mm may prevent proper tensioning and/or slippage. I'm not sure if the pulleys and adjustments can adequately handle more than 1" in extra belt length. My concern would be that if you can't tension the extra length, it will go somewhere when in motion, probably slapping around or rubbing things under the pulley cover that it is not supposed to. (you know the more I read this the worse it sounds, but I can't think of any other way to word it.)
