Patrick,Thanks for the correction on the cam valve settings.I should have
checked page 37 of the shop manual as it clearly states .019" when checking
cam degrees. Dave

Guzzi uses different valve settings to 'measure' the cam than those for
optimal running. This issue is as old as the hills. My '46 SuperAlce 500
uses performance settings of .002intake and .012exhaust, but .020 to
measure
the cam.
