Andy,
Like I'm really one to listen to on mechanicals but did you synch the
carbs?, how about running on a hotter plug?, did a mouse crawl up your
exhaust, make a nest and clog up the pipe?, did a baffle come loose inside
the pipe - how does it run with the muffler off and just the header on
there? Did you check for ohm resistance on both of your plug wires? Oh man
now I feel like taking a run down there and helping!!! Keep in touch! Bob

hi guys-
i have installed new cyls., pistons, & rebuilt heads on the 'ol eldo.
strangely, the exhaust note from the left side is not robust [sounds
really,
uh, odd] & the emmissions from that side have no heat. i have swapped
sparkplugs, cleaned the carb, checked the distrib., and am at my wit's
end!
[not all that far from where i normally reside, btw].
get this- the compression is 160 lbs [both sides- questionable guage],
the
pipes are hot, but the air coming out is not warm. [?????????] ya really
notice the sound differance about 1200- 2000 rpms, as far as i can tell,
w/
no tach. i am STUMPED! ideas? anyone?
tia, andy
