Hello Loopy people,

My Eldorado is coming along fine, fitting a 76 Convert motor into the Eldo chassis. The newer distributor was fairly easy to wire into the Eldo harness, but I have one question about the tach. Will the Eldo tach work with the newer, dual point distributor? It appears I may be able to connect the wire from the tach, that originally went to the terminal on the distributor, to both coils. Will this work ok? or will it short the coils together? I am assuming the tach just reads voltage spikes.

Scott
