I am in Lenoir. West of Hickory, which is NWish of Charlotte. If you get
down here, maybe we can meet and ride The Dragon (11 miles, 300 odd
curves!). Its in the western tip of NC and somewhat close to GA depending
on where you are.
Know how you feel about the L-D relationship thing...but if its worth it,
its worth it.

Chris, Dennis et Al,

I laughed when I read the post. I've never been to Buffalo in the winter
but
I hear it is brutal....worse that Montreal (where I live presently). We may
have colder temps but the poor people there get the snow. I hate shovelling
the stuff.

As for me...my situation is somewhat similar. I just got offered a position
in northen Georgia and my girl has decided that she wants to stay in
Montreal. So it looks like I will be doing the long distance relationship
as
well. Sounds like more "quality time" spent with the Loop eh? :-)

As for Loop content. I am trying to decide whether I should bring both
Loops
south or just one....and if I decide on just one...which one.
Decisions....decisions. :-)

By the way...where are you located in NC Chris?

...Ian

 Dennis-
Thanks for your brutal if not honest reply (LOL). Yes, I like it down
here
much better, but she is up there and loves it. Hell, I saw snow and hail
on
Sat! We get snow down here too (I'm in the mountains), but nowhere near
that much. I'm hoping the harsh winter will bring her to her senses and
make her move back down...or at least farther south.
No can do on the finding another one...I'm in too deep, and frankly, the
NC
girls I meet are too damn materialistic, judgemental, and moronic for me.
I
haven't dated in 3 years because of this. I know there are exceptions,
but
hell if I can find 'em. Hope I've not offended anyone...this is only my
opinion and observation.
Cheers!
Chris in NC
