Kev,
I used high temp Permatex silcone on both my Ambos and have never had a
problem with them backing off. By the way...I have the updated locking nuts
on one bike and the originals on the other. Both stay nice and tight and
don't leak.

| Hey, Any tips on keeping the exhaust leaking from the header pipe at the head? I go through gaskets more than toilet paper. I have the "locking header nuts" and the headers are secured with the frame/header clamps. I've tried doubling up on gaskets to no avil. A Ex. gasket will last about 2 weeks with riding 60 miles a day and checking the tightness constantly. Usually the right one will loosen and blow first. ANY suggestions would be helpful. Thanks Kev |
