AAHH!! The 'ol turtle and hare story. HA! Take that!, you, you, OTHER brand
riders with your holier than thou attitude, Eh?, Ah? Now you's see. Now you
all see the LIGHT, now you all can come out and BOW, BOW to the Guzzi Gods!

Congratulations, hope to see you run next year.

I was not going to post this to the list at all until I read an article in
the MGNOC about a fellow Guzzi rider that had a discussion with a rider of
another brand about Guzzi reliability.

Final results are posted for the "American Historic Racing Motorcycle
Association" (AHRMA) road race season. Much to my & a couple of other
people's amazement, I have won the national title in "Historic Production
Heavyweight" by 5 points. This win is not due to my own riding skill or
really the overall speed of my bike but to the reliability of the old Guzzi.
Several people in my class have faster bikes but with speed came mechanical
problems that kept them from finishing every race, me & my bike crossed the
finish line in every race we entered. This bike has had a long hard life,
first pulling a side car for many years & then with very little done to the
motor its getting flogged out on the race track. So for those that say
Guzzi's are not reliable......well its just not been my experience.

Thanks to everyone that came out to the races & especially to those that
came by the pits & said hello. I'll see you out there next year.
