There is another Guzzi shop in the area of Blue Moon. Cycle Specialties in
Athens (I think). I don't know if he keeps a lot of Goose stuff there, but
he worked on my bike several times before I got it (replaced jugs and
pistons, tranny adjustments, carb work, etc.). I do know he's NOT the
idiot
that spliced in the Jap wiring...don't think he'd do such a thing. My
buddy
I got the bike from seemed very impressed with his setup. Claimed the
floor
was clean enough to eat from and the whole place was laboratory clean.

Frank,

Maybe the speedo was redone at the Hartmut brother's place of business.
That's where mine was done and they hand painted the numbers. Actually I
think it looks kind of neat.

As for the "01" just think that you will have a unique speedo to go along
with your unique bike :-) Pretty crummy of them not to let you know about
it
though but at least they offered to give your money back.

Regards...Ian

p.s. is Blue Moon in Norcross? You in that area? Sounds to me like there
are
a few Loops around there.

I just got "mooned" by blue moon. I paid $305.00 plus postage for an
Ambo Speedo. When I got it the numbers were "hand painted" which didn't
show up on the picture on ebay. the 10 mph was backwards (01)and they
tried to tell me they didn't notice it. I don't usually knock anybody
but that was deception first class. Buyer Beware. They offered to
refund my money but I did need the speedo. The last item to finish the
product. Have fun.
Angry every time I think of it.
