Hey Jim,
At the risk of getting flamed.....I run the Cheng Shin replica of the Dunlop
K70. It was popular in the 70's when I first started riding Guzzi's and
comes in the 4.00X18 size. JC Whitney sells them for around $45 apiece. They
are 6-ply and very tough. I ride my Ambo everywhere, and have never had a
problem. I live in Las Vegas, and they hold up to the desert heat very well.
I always liked them because they work well in the dirt, like in graded
roads. Actually, they were used for flat track racing in the 70's. Besides
all that, I like the period look.

I'm getting my old '67 V7 going again and now it's time to look into
tires... It's got 4.00x18's on it and I'm sure the technology and the
players in the marketplace have change in the 15 years since I last bought
Motorcycle tires... Any suggestions as to make/model/size to get? Also
are
there any good online places to get them?

Thanks... Jim
